AP402

AP402

  • Construction:

    • Crosswise to the tubes: continuous multifilament polyester yarn, high tenacity , 14 yarns/cm
    • Lengthwise to the tubes: polyester spun yarn, 16 yarns/cm

  • Electric resistance: 0.21 Ω*cm² (typical value)
  • Application: this type is preferentially used in gel applications where shedding is not a problem; the lower electric resistance helps to compensate the loss of capacity due to the gel.

AP407

AP407

  • Construction:

    • Crosswise to the tubes: continuous multifilament polyester yarn, high tenacity , 14 yarns/cm
    • Lengthwise to the tubes: polyester spun yarn, 18 yarns/cm

  • Electric resistance: 0.25 Ω*cm² (typical value)
  • Application: it’s the most used type of woven gauntlet. This type presents the best compromise between electrical resistance and the capability to retain the active mass in the tube.

AP410

AP410

  • Construction:

    • Crosswise to the tubes: continuous multifilament polyester yarn, high tenacity , 14 yarns/cm
    • Lengthwise to the tubes: alternating polyester spun yarn and continuous yarn, 19 yarns/cm

  • Electric resistance: 0.25 Ω*cm² (typical value)
  • Application: smaller pores but in bigger quantity improves the retention of the active mass. The use of continuous yarn also lengthwise gives a smoother surface that helps the filling of the tube especially when dry filled.
